What's the deal with kid placement in restaurants?
In my experience as a single man, I have noticed that with myself and other men, sitting by themselves in a restaurant; the wait-staff seem to nearly always put the screaming kid next to me. I can't imagine why they would do this. I swear to all of you, the next time this starts happening to me in any eating establishment, I'm going to ask and I'm going to request the kid is put in the back room; well, not the back room, the family be seated well away from me anyway.
Why on earth does this happen? I guess I'll find out next time.

Selfish
Lotta the Liar,
I have a serious question for you. Why does your daughter cry all the time? Morning, noon, and night; that kid of yours is crying. What are you doing to her; what are you not doing for her?
Why I’m asking you this at this time is because on Monday, the 20th of October you lied to me and, I suppose, to the Excel energy worker you had come out to ‘our’ place. You apparently did not have permission from the land-lord to enter “my” premises to check on what-ever you wanted to check on. I certainly was not informed. You lied to me and knowingly intruded on my privacy; shame on you Lotta; shame.
While I have your attention I must voice my disapproval of your parenting and general character. You appear to be a very selfish person; you allow your child to bounce a ball regularly in your un-carpeted apartment knowing full-well that there is another tenant directly below you. You allow the same child to thump around with shoes on when the other tenant is home. Do you not allow your daughter to play outside, in the fresh air? I have never witnessed it. You yourself, vacuum before 9am, knowing the other tenant may be sleeping in.
At times I have nearly felt sorry for you, to have to deal with that annoying, screaming child, but then I hear you yodeling and carrying on as your boyfriend (not the father of your current child) bangs you upstairs. You must be going for unwed child number two.

Honor-Hyjacked
Because of the LEFT...
I just sent an email to a friend of mine, whom I've known for 35 years and just got married two days ago. In the email I said that I was Honored to be his guest. I was and am.
Because of the Left, especially the "proud gay left", I feel like the word and to some degree the meaning of honor has been diminished a good deal.
I think of honor as; A.) Serving G-d. B.) Serving Country. C.) Being a Marine (A&B), and D.) being honorable to people you respect.
The Left seems to have turned tables on this way of thinking, it bothers me greatly.

Parents and Kids
Parents and THEIR kids...
This may well be a multi-part blog; lemme start with the parents.
Today's parents, for the most part, SUCK at parenting. I know this because I was a kid once, I have parents, and I've witnessed a few examples of good parenting. G-d help me, only a few.
I'm more than old enough to have kids of my own, and if I did not parent well, I may be a 'grand pa' ( [there are exceptions to this.] Of course I wouldn't say it like that if this was 200 years ago - but it isn't.)
Single, couple, with kids, or with-out kids, have you been in a restaurant in the last 15 years? What annoys you most; the family with the uncontrolled screaming kids, right? I have witnessed single moms, single dads, and both parents with children that are not on a hypothetical leash. It's disgusting. I'm disgusted. What happened?
Well, political correctness happened. PC has infiltrated ALL aspects of life. At my church, there are families that let their kids run wild and do nothing to stop THEIR children from bothering adults whom have nothing (in particular) to do with them.
At a restaurant or coffee shop, kids run wild. Down the alley from me, a family of five, letting their youngest (of 5 years old) run around, alone, in the alley, with nothing more than bottoms on!
Well, hey, who am I to judge (says the PARENT). Kids will be kids. I can't spank my child, I can't punish my child. I can't teach my child. They apparently can't remember what they learned as a child. Discipline. Obedience. Respect. Courtesy. Even honor.
Perhaps these foolish parents didn't learn these things themselves. If that's the case, too bad for them, really. But they are parents now. They are grown-up, adults. They made the choice to be parents. Let them parent THEIR children.

Fair Media?
I heard me a good idea today. The mainstream media aught to take 5 cars with Obama stickers on them and put them in a far right-wing conservative neighborhood over night, for a day or two. Then also, put 5 cars with McCain stickers on them and park those cars in a far left/socialist neighborhood for the same amount of time.
Then the mainstream media should honestly report what happens to those cars. It would be a good idea to video each car. They could have a panel of conservatives and leftists to decide where the cars are parked.
I see a further step that should be taken. Only the panel and reporters should know about the whole thing; so that no one from either side tips others as to what's going on and unfairly damages the vehicles.

Socialism be damned! No Really. Socialism is damned. Socialism will likely lead to Communism or as bad, Marxism. Socialism is bad enough, talk to (most) English business owners, small - great. Talk to Canadians subject to socialized health care.
For those who really listened to last nights' "debate", listen to the small or large business owners who heard Husein talk about "use it or lose it", regarding their use of properties that do not sit well with his agenda.
